The DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a data protocol and transport mechanism that was jointly developed and specified by several manufacturers of lighting equipment. The Cue System can serve as IP backbone between DALI sub-nets of up to 64 devices to create multiple DALI sub-nets.

KNX | KNXnet/IP
 

KNX is an open, worldwide standard conforming to EN 50090 and ISO/IEC 14543. A vendor-independent tool (ETS) is available for commissioning. KNX can use twisted pair cables, radio frequency (RF) or data transmission networks in connection with the Internet Protocol for communication between the devices.

DMX512
 

DMX512 (Digital MultipleX) is a standard for digital communication networks that are commonly used to control stage lighting and effects as well as interior and architectural lighting. DMX512 employs EIA-485 differential signalling at its physical layer, in conjunction with a variable-size, packet-based communication protocol.

UPnP
 

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is a set of networking protocols that permits networked devices to seamlessly discover each other’s presence on the network and establish functional network services for data sharing, communications, and entertainment. UPnP defines the type of device (server, renderer, controller) and the mechanisms for accessing media over a network.

DLNA
 

The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is a collaborative organization that is responsible for defining interoperability guidelines to enable sharing of digital media between multimedia devices. DLNA uses Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) for media management, discovery and control. Cue System uses DLNA / UPnP technology for control of many DLNA compatible AV devices - TVs, AV receivers, media players, etc.

CoolMasterNet
 

The CoolMasterNet software solution integrates CoolMasterNet via IP or serial interface and gives your Cue System the ability to control all aspects of the HVAC system. It enables the user set the mode, fan, temperature setpoint and swing position of HVAC from any of the Cue System user interfaces - keypads, touch panels and mobile applications. All these HVAC can be automated and triggered too.

Cue System offers many types of inputs and outputs that enable connecting all basic types of interfaces. Serial
 

Many controlled devices support serial control. A serial controlled device receives commands and, in case of bi-directional communication, sends feedback and status data back to a controller. Serial control is typical for projectors, TVs, DVD players, media servers, multi-zone audio systems, AV switchers and many other devices. Cue System supports RS-232/422/485 standards.

Modbus Serial | Modbus TCP
 

Modbus is an open standard applied in a large number of application areas, such as the industrial sector, buildings, traffic and energy. The Modbus protocol is used to establish master-slave/client-server communication between devices. Versions of the Modbus protocol exist for serial port (Modbus Serial) and for Ethernet (Modbus TCP). Infrared
 

Most of consumer devices are controlled using infra-red (IR) communication. The IR is one-way communication and no feedback from controlled device is available. All CUE controllers are equipped with IR capture sensor and are able to capture IR codes. Then IR codes are transmitted throw IR adapters or IR blasters connected to appropriate control port.

World Weather Online’s weather API allows Cue System to access weather data for use in control applications. All of weather API types collect reliable data uniquely for locations all over the world. The weather API is easy to use and delivers advanced, in-depth weather information. This data is delivered using standard HTTP requests, with weather API returned in standard industry formats such as XML and JSON.
