The Challenge
Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) embarked on an ambitious project to upgrade the audiovisual systems across its campuses. With 400 classrooms requiring seamless control over multiple AV technologies—projectors, monitors, DSP, cameras, microphones, and recording software—the challenge was clear: integrate a reliable, easy-to-use solution that would simplify operations for educators while minimizing maintenance efforts.




About the University
URJC is one of Spain’s largest public universities, serving over 45,000 students across multiple campuses. As a modern institution committed to technological advancement, it sought a control system that could ensure effortless AV management while offering long-term reliability.

The Journey
The project spanned multiple phases from 2021 to 2024. Each year, approximately 100 classrooms were upgraded, integrating CUE’s touchCUE-7 panel—a robust, all-in-one solution combining a touchscreen interface with an integrated IP controller. This minimized the number of devices per classroom, reducing complexity, power consumption, and potential failure points.
Beyond hardware, AVIT VISION developed custom software using CUE Visual Composer, streamlining classroom setups and enabling remote monitoring. The system automatically assigns control IP addresses, downloads configurations, and provides real-time analytics, helping URJC’s tech team anticipate issues before they arise.
